PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in southeast Portland overnight.
At 1:01 a.m. officers responded to a report of a shooting at Southeast 82nd Avenue and Southeast Flavel Street. Upon arrival they found a person deceased.
The identity of the person has not been released.
As detectives processed the crime, police searched the neighborhood for a suspect. There is no word on whether an arrest was made.
Witnesses are being asked to contact Portland Police.
