PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A man drove his car over grass and onto the bricks at Terry Schrunk Plaza in downtown Portland overnight.

Portland police said 36-year-old Joshua Jacquot then got out of the car and started dancing around.

He was quickly arrested by police and booked into the Multnomah County Jail on charges of reckless driving.

Federal officers also responded to the scene because Terry Schrunk Plaza is a federal park. As a result, Jacquot will also be charged with destruction of federal property.

Police said Jacquot also pitched a tent at the park on Saturday night and was removed early Sunday morning. He was not charged with anything at that time.

The last time Terry Schrunk Plaza was in the headlines was November 2011, when Occupy protesters chained themselves to a cement barrier using handcuffs and bike locks.
