PACIFIC CITY, OR (KPTV) -
A body found on the Oregon coastline on Sunday has been identified as a 20-year-old Depoe Bay man who was wanted by police.
Beach walkers spotted the body of Kyle Wallace about three-fourths of a mile south of the dory boat launch area in Pacific City.
Troopers said the body appeared to have washed onto the shore. Using fingerprints, they were able to identify the body as that of Wallace.
State police described Wallace as a wanted fugitive who had multiple warrants out for his arrest. A month ago, he fled from police and led them on a chase on Highway 101. The car was later found abandoned and a search for Wallace turned up no sign of him.
Police said there's no evidence Wallace's death is the result of a crime.
