PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Police have arrested a 16-year-old, saying the boy stabbed a man and a woman known to him.
At about 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Portland Police responded to a home in the 600 block of Southeast 162nd Avenue.
Once police arrived, both of the stabbing victims were transported to a local hospital. A police spokesman says they are expected to recover from their injuries.
Meanwhile, a large police perimeter was set up and a K-9 unit was called in to find the suspect.
Police eventually found the teenager and took him into custody. He was lodged at Donald E. Long Detention Center where he was booked on assault charges.
