PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
A man hit by a car on the east end of the Hawthorne Bridge this morning has died from his injuries.
Portland Police say the man's identity is being withheld until next of kin is notified.
The driver of the vehicle that struck him remained at the scene of the accident. He has been identified as Floyd Davidson, age 70. Police say Davidson was not impaired and speed was not a factor.
The major crash team is continuing the investigation.
