BEAVERTON, OR (KPTV) -
Two crashes shut down Highway 217 northbound near Canyon Road on Monday afternoon.
Beaverton police said there were four cars involved in one wreck, and two cars involved in a second crash.
Tualatin Valley firefighters said one person was taken to the hospital to be treated.
Cleaning up the crash required closing all northbound lanes for almost one hour.
Traffic cameras in the area showed several emergency vehicles at the scene and a big backup.
