GRESHAM, OR (KPTV) -
The Multnomah County Sheriff's Office said a man was struck and killed by a car Monday night on Lusted Road in Gresham.
At about 7:50 p.m. Monday, Multnomah County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a call of a man who had been struck by a car in the 35600 block of Southeast Lusted Road in Gresham.
He has been identified as David Romero, 32, of Sandy.
The Gresham Fire Department and an AMR Ambulance crew arrived at the scene of the accident and attempted lifesaving efforts on Romero, but were unable to revive him.
Investigators said the driver of the vehicle, Adam Sager, 32, of Sandy, remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
No citations have been issued at this time.
The road was closed for more than an hour after the collision.
