PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Portland Police are investigating an armed robbery at a bar on SE Powell. Officers were called to Coasters Bar and Grill at around 3 p.m. Monday.
Officers arrived in the area and contacted the victim at the bar. Police learned that the suspect entered the bar, threatened a bartender and customer with a gun, and then demanded money.
The suspect fled the scene and ran eastbound on Powell Boulevard after taking an undisclosed amount of cash. Several officers searched the neighborhood with a K-9 Unit but did not locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as a white male, 6' tall, big nose, dirty and wavy hair to the shoulders, pale complexion, wearing dark clothes and a ski mask.
