A man who worked at a business that supplies sports equipment to kids is going to prison for sex abuse.
Stephen Webb pleaded guilty to charges including four counts of sex abuse Thursday.
He was sentenced to 30 years in prison and 20 years post-prison supervision. He must also register as a sex offender.
Webb was arrested in July and initially had 40 charges of sex crimes against a child against him. Investigators said he sexually abused at least two girls between the ages of 12 and 14 over a two-year period starting in May 2010.
He had worked for GearUp Sports in Beaverton. Investigators said there was no evidence any abuse happened there.
GearUp Sports released a statement after the arrest pledging their cooperation with authorities, while saying Webb was not alone with any minors at the store. The business also offered thoughts and prayers to the victims and their families.
