Plaid Pantry armed robberies suspect arrested

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Deputies said they've caught the man who robbed a pair of Plaid Pantry stores in the span of a few hours.

Juan Flores, 31, of Gresham, was arrested Wednesday. Investigators said he robbed a store at Northeast 242nd and Glisan at 11:45 p.m. on Oct. 13 and then another one at 2 a.m. on Oct. 14 near Northeast 67th and Glisan.

Victims in each case said the man had a gun.

Detectives said a tip came in about the suspect from someone who saw the surveillance images on the local news.
