PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
The woman accused of driving the car in a hit-and-run crash that killed a woman on West Burnside in March is going to prison.
Ashley Chavez completed her plea change Monday. She pleaded guilty to manslaughter while driving drunk, felony hit-and-run and hindering prosecution.
She was sentenced to more than six years behind bars.
Chavez hit and killed Nancy Schoeffler after leaving a Portland Timbers soccer match on March 31.
After a two-month investigation, six people in all ended up facing charges in this case.
The five other suspects also pleaded guilty Monday for their roles in the crime.
They are Angela Kaps-Collins, the passenger in the car, her husband Billy Collins, Chavez's brother Josh Chavez, her boyfriend Christopher Rhea and her coworker Jose Alberto Torres.
