PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Portland police are searching for the hit-and-run driver who killed a man in SE Portland, and they're hoping a newly released sketch will help them track him down.
On Monday, investigators released a sketch of the man they said hit and killed David Eklund, 60, on Wednesday night.
Eklund was walking across SE Powell near 71st when a car in the westbound lane hit him, investigators said. Eklund was taken to the hospital where he later died.
The driver took off in a small black SUV, investigators said. Police believe the vehicle may have damage to the front.
Crimestoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest.
