Police: Missing baby found, receiving medical attention

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A missing 7-month-old has been found safe and is receiving medical attention.

The Portland Police Bureau's Child Abuse Team put out a call for help Friday finding Amirah Conteh and her mother Musu Conteh, 20.

Investigators said the child may have been suffering serious medical problems.

Police said media exposure of the case led someone to call the Department of Human Services hotline and that information helped investigators track the pair down.

Police did not provide any additional details about the case.
