Police investigate critical injury stabbing in SE Portland

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Portland police are looking for a suspect in a stabbing that left a man with critical injuries after a bar fight.

At about 2:15 a.m. Sunday, officers on routine patrol discovered 27-year-old Ioan Emanuel Posteuca lying in a pool of blood in a parking lot at the corner of Southeast 160th Avenue and Division Street.

Posteuca was suffering from an apparent stab wound in his neck, but was able to tell the officers that he was stabbed during a large fight at a bar somewhere on 122nd Avenue.

The officers checked several locations, but were unable to locate a crime scene.

Posteuca was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. He was in critical condition, but is expected to survive.
