PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Do you have what it takes to make it in Major League Soccer? The Portland Timbers are giving soccer players that opportunity.
The Timbers will conduct their annual tryouts on Jan. 19-20 at JELD-WEN Field.
The tryout is open to players 18 years and older. Interested athletes with previous college or professional experience can register online at the Portland Timbers website.
Players without college or pro experience must first submit a playing resume via email to coachingstaff@portlandtimbers.com.
The registration fee for the tryout is $150 and space is limited.
The tryouts are scheduled to go from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Jan. 19 and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Jan. 20.
