A man accused of stealing a bronze deer statue from a Beaverton dentist's office changed his plea today.
Chad Ferguson pleaded guilty to charges including aggravated theft and criminal mischief. In April, police found the deer chopped up into pieces at Ferguson's home. After court today, Ferguson told Fox 12 he did not steal the deer, but got it from some kids.
He said he thought the head would make a cool hood ornament for his car, and kept it.
Ferguson is set to be sentenced in January.
