PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
A helicopter made an emergency landing at a Portland middle school Thursday morning.
Portland police said the chopper landed at Robert Gray Middle School on Southwest 23rd Avenue just after 10 a.m.
The pilot and co-pilot noticed an engine warning light and decided to make the precautionary landing on the school's baseball field.
No injuries were reported in the emergency landing. Police said it was a training helicopter from Hillsboro Aviation.
A flatbed truck is headed to the school to pick up the helicopter. The Federal Aviation Administration is now investigating.
