PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
A man found guilty of charges including rape for a 2011 sexual assault is going to prison for 19 years.
Mark Anthony Grey Eyes was sentenced Thursday to a little more than 19 years behind bars. He was found guilty by a judge in September for the crime on Oct. 22, 2011.
He must also register as a sex offender.
That's when police responded to a reported sexual assault at Northwest Eighth and Flanders. A K-9 picked up a track and led officers to some bushes at Northwest Ninth and Glisan.
Police said Grey Eyes proved uncooperative and was not only bitten by the dog, but also hit with a stun gun before taken into custody.
