Larry Mullins
PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
A man accused of killing a woman along a Happy Valley bike path a year ago is not guilty of murder.
A jury delivered that verdict today in the case of Larry Mullins Jr.
Mullins was arrested in December 2011 and charged with the murder of Dana Crippen, 50. Her body was found on a bike path under Johnston Creek Boulevard, west of Interstate 205 in November 2011.
Investigators said she was homeless and had been living in the Eugene area.
Tips from the public helped lead investigators to Mullins, who was arrested at a home in southeast Portland.
The jury voted 10 to 2 to acquit in this case Friday.
