Tree slams into Cannon Beach home

CANNON BEACH, OR (KPTV) -

A tree crashed into a house in Cannon Beach Monday.

Witnesses said the people inside the home were asleep in their bedroom when it happened and there are no reports of any injuries. The tree slammed into the roof above the living room.

Trees were knocked down throughout the coastal area Monday as a storm brought strong wind and rain.

Thousands of people also lost power due to the storm.
