Woman hit by car in SE Portland dies at hospital

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A 71-year-old woman who was hit by a car in southeast Portland Tuesday night has died.

Portland police first reported Ksenia Aleksandrova was in critical condition Wednesday morning, but about an hour later officers said she died at the hospital.

She was hit around 8:20 p.m. near 108th and Washington Street. Investigators said Aleksandrova was crossing the street with Pavel Krivolenkov, 70, in a cross walk when they both were hit.

Krivolenkov is in serious condition at the hospital.

The driver, Kimberly Dennis, 41, is cooperating with investigators and no charges have been filed in this case.

This was just one of several crashes involving pedestrians in the area Tuesday night. A 14-year-old boy was hit near 189th and Farmington Road at 6 p.m. He was taken to the hospital and expected to survive.

At 6:45 p.m., a 16-year-old boy was hit running across 82nd Avenue in Portland near Raymond Court. He was listed in critical condition Wednesday morning.
