An 18-year-old Beaverton man is accused of punching another man during a Black Friday scuffle.

Carlos Gil-Medina attacked a 54-year-old man Friday night as they waited in line at Best Buy on SW Cascade Avenue for the early Black Friday sale, police said.

According to officers, Gil-Medina was cutting in front of people at the front of the line.

He punched the victim in the face when he was asked to leave, police said.

The victim suffered a cut to the face and received stitches to close the wound at a local hospital, FOX 12 learned.

Gil-Medina faces charges including fourth-degree assault, disorderly conduct and giving false information to a police officer.

He was lodged at the Washington County Jail following his arrest.
