OREGON CITY, OR (KPTV) -
A horse was rescued from a deep mud hole in Oregon city thanks to the hard work of half a dozen firefighters.
The horse's owner, Sharon Macfarlane looked out her family room window on Monday morning and knew something was wrong. The horse was lying on the ground and struggling.
When she went outside, she found 30-year-old Dylan stuck in the mud. She called firefighters and her vet to get help.
It took the crews quite a while to dig him out, but after some rest and some electrolytes from the vet, Dylan was able to stand up on his own.
