The Jackson County Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect in a drive-by shooting that happened Tuesday near Central Point.
Deputies responded to the 6000 block of Truax Road at 3:40 p.m. on Nov. 27 after receiving a report of a shooting.
A witness told deputies a man was riding in the passenger seat of a red, 1993 BMW 3 series, when he pulled out a small caliber handgun and fired it at a home. The car drove west toward Central Point before deputies arrived.
Investigators say the alleged shooter is 24-year-old Andrew Caucutt of Central Point.
Deputies are now looking for Caucutt and the 1993 BMW. The car has Oregon plates with the number 385 BSD and has chrome rims.
Anyone with information about the shooting or the whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call the Jackson County Sheriff's Office at 541-774-6800.
