Woodburn police search for trio using counterfeit bills

WOODBURN, OR (KPTV) -

Three people have been passing fake bills at Woodburn businesses.

The counterfeit money was used at Safeway, Starbucks and Burger King. Woodburn police have developed suspect descriptions for the people they are looking for based on surveillance images.

The first is a white woman in her late 20s with long brown hair. She is 5' tall with a thin build.

The second suspect is a white man in his late 20s with shoulder-length brown hair, glasses and a goatee. He is 5'8" to 5'10" tall with a medium to thin build.

The third suspect is a black man in his late 20s with a shaved head. He is 6'1" tall with a heavy build.

Investigators said during the fraudulent transaction, the suspects are seen smiling and laughing with employees.
