Armed female robber on the run - KPTV - FOX 12

A woman who held up a Salem market is on the run, and police need help tracking her down.

Police were told that at about 7 a.m. on Nov. 4, a woman entered the Corner Market at 2809 Market St. NE. Witnesses say the suspect was alone when she pointed a black handgun at the clerk and demanded money. She is then said to have run off in an unknown direction.

The suspect is thought to be a white female standing about 5'8" tall. She was wearing a blue beanie and coat and has a heavy build.

Anyone with information is urged to call Salem police.
