Sexual harassment suit filed against local school district

LINCOLN CO., ORE (KPTV) -

A newly-filed lawsuit accuses the Lincoln County School District of failing to prevent sexual harassment and assault against its students.

Earlier in November, the lawsuit was filed on behalf of five elementary students in the county. It claims the district did not file a report during the 2009-2010 school year about a then-6-year-old boy who allegedly touched students inappropriately and exposed himself to them at Same Case Primary School.

The school district said it has taken action since the claims of abuse came to light.
