Washington County deputies said an 86-year-old driver veered into the path of an oncoming car near the Rock Creek area of northwest Portland.

It happened just after 6:30 p.m. just west of the intersection of 185th and West Union.

Crews used the Jaws of Life to get one of the victims out.

Deputies said alcohol was a factor in the crash.
