MILWAUKIE, OR (KPTV) -
A man accused of murdering a woman in a Milwaukie apartment has changed his plea to guilty.
The surprise plea deal was announced Monday for Daniel Seale. He entered a guilty plea to one count of first-degree murder.
His sentencing date is set for Dec. 19.
Detectives found the body of Michelle Walker inside her apartment on Roethe Road on July 8. Police said her mother called 911 to report something suspicious at the apartment.
Deputies described the suspect and the victim as acquaintances.
Seale was convicted earlier in 2012 in Benton County for encouraging child sex abuse after police said they found child porn on his computer.
