The city of Gladstone experienced a raw sewage overflow into the Clackamas River.
The overflow happened due to excessive rain at the south end of Portland Avenue near where the Clackamas and Willamette rivers meet, according to Gladstone police.
People in the area are asked to avoid contact with the rivers for two days because of the bacteria associated with the raw sewage.
