PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
The average price for a gallon of gasoline in Oregon is at its lowest point since January.
The state's average fell more than four cents for the week to $3.43 a gallon, according to AAA. That's five cents above the national average, but still a steep improvement from earlier in the year.
In the fall, Oregon's average gasoline price was 30 cents higher per gallon than the U.S. average.
The current state average of $3.43 is 10 cents less than a year ago.
AAA reports the average price for a gallon of gas in the Portland-metro area is currently $3.39, down from $3.71 just a month ago.
Prices dropped in every state in the country over the last week except Kansas, where the average price remained the same.
