Restaurant to hold fundraiser for employee injured in deadly crash

Posted: Updated:

A restaurant will hold a fundraiser next week to benefit an employee critically injured when he was hit by a car while walking to work.

Smokey's Hot Oven Pizza will donate 20 percent of Tuesday evening sales on Dec. 11 to a fund for Joseph Reilly. The restaurant has also set up donation jars at both of its Vancouver locations.

Reilly was walking to work at Smokey's when investigators say Annastasia Morrison crashed into him on Highway 99 last week. Morrison died at the scene and Reilly remains in critical condition.
