PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Portland police said they caught a bank robbery suspect riding a bicycle away from the scene.
Officers were called to the Consolidated Community Credit Union, 2021 NE Sandy Blvd., at 3:23 p.m. Friday.
Police said the suspect took off with cash after handing a note demanding money to bank workers.
Officers converged on the area around the bank and found a man matching the suspect's description. He was riding a bike at the time and was taken into custody at Northeast 31st and Irving Street.
Police have not yet revealed the suspect's name.
