BEAVERTON, OR (KPTV) -
Santa Claus made a special delivery to the Fox 12 studios Friday.
With the help of Saver Corp., Santa dropped off more than 35 brand new bikes and bags full of toys for the Fox 12-Les Schwab Tire Centers Toy Drive.
Federated Auto Parts also donated more than $1,000 to help buy toys for local children in need.
Fox 12's Andy Carson even got in on the fun, test driving a "My Frist Craftsman" pickup truck donated by the Kmart Cares program through the newsroom.
The man behind the beard says he has been working to collect donations for this toy drive for more than a decade. It all started 11 years ago with one bicycle.
"It's for the kids. It's about the spirit," he said. "I get so much joy out of this, I can't imagine not doing it and I just want to make it bigger and better every year."
