MCMINNVILLE, OR (KPTV) -

A father and his two kids from Oregon are behind bars in Texas, accused of robbing banks together.

Deputies in Fort Bend County, TX, arrested Ronald, Hayden and Abigail Catt on Nov. 9. They are accused of robbing a credit union there and now investigators think they could be connected to five bank robberies in the Portland area.

Hayden and Abigail Catt went to McMinnville High School. Neighbors remember the family as being normal.

But Texas deputies said they were caught on camera robbing a credit union wearing construction vests. The older man wore a painter's mask, while the younger suspect had a fake mustache.

Detectives eventually traced their gear to a nearby Home Depot. They said Hayden and Abby Catt were shown on surveillance video buying the vests with their father's debit card.

Detectives said father and son robbed the credit union, while the daughter drove the getaway car.

Investigators in the Portland area are working to determine if the family is behind as many as five unsolved bank robberies locally.

McMinnville police said they last had contact with the Catt family in February of this year during a routine traffic stop. Now, McMinnville investigators are looking into a possible connection to cases as far back as 2006.
