PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Portland has a brand new attraction thanks to two brothers from Boise.
The Portland Aquarium, located at 16323 SE McLoughlin Blvd in Milwaukie, opens this week.
The privately-funded aquarium features 30 underwater exhibits and more than 2,500 different species. It also hosts a unique "Sleep with the Sharks" program that allows sleepovers at the aquarium.
It's going to be open 365 days a year from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
For now, it's only open to members, but will open to the general public starting Saturday.
