CORVALLIS, OR (KPTV) -

A masked man robbed a Corvallis gas station at knifepoint over the weekend, police said.

It happened at the Shell station on NW 9th Street at about 3:40 p.m. Saturday.

According to officers, the robber walked into the office of the gas station, pulled out a knife and told a worker to give him some money.

The employee ran out of the office and asked a customer to call 911.

The robber then ran away from the business, got into a small white passenger vehicle parked nearby and drove off, police said.

No one was hurt during the incident.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s with a thin build and blonde eyebrows.

He also was between 5'10" to 6' tall.

He was wearing a black zip-up sweatshirt with a hood, dark colored pants and a dark gray bandana with light gray triangles covering his face, police said.

Anyone who may have seen someone acting suspicious or out of place around the time of the robbery, or spotted a white vehicle speeding north on 9th St., is asked to call the Corvallis Police Department at 541-766-6924.
