RAINIER, OR (KPTV) -

Columbia County sheriffs recovered some of the more than $10,000 worth of stolen property after a business was burglarized twice within a week's time.

Big Horn Logging fell victim to burglars over Thanksgiving weekend and again on Dec. 1. The first time, burglars only got away with a plasma cutter and a couple of gas cans. But, when they came back the next weekend, they got away with a litany of equipment and tools. Among them was an acetylene torch, air tools and a pressure washer.

A week later, police searched a home at 74149 Doan Rd. and found much of that stolen property. Darren McLeod and Francis Degraffenreid subsequently confessed to the burglaries. They are now charged with aggravated burglary.
