A former Newberg High School student has been sentenced to a total of three months in jail after pleading guilty to several charges in a case involving illegal tattooing and underage sex.
Stephen Lister, 18, gave tattoos to at least 10 former classmates, several of whom later came down with MRSA. Shortly after police began investigating the tattoos, two 15-year-old girls came forward to report having sex with Lister.
This morning, Lister pleaded guilty to third-degree rape and sodomy charges, as well as charges of operating a tattoo facility without a license.
Once his time is served, he'll serve two years of probation and be required to submit to a sex offender treatment package.
