4 egg yolks
1 cup milk
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup sugar+1 table spoon
4 oz of bourbon
2 oz of dark rum
1 table spoon fresh nutmeg+ some for garnish
4 egg whites.
Whip egg yolks until they lighten in color. Whisk in the sugar until combined well with the yolks. Slowly whisk in the milk and cream. Add bourbon, rum, and nutmeg. In a separate bowl beat the egg whites with a table spoon of sugar until soft peaks form. Fold the egg whites into the milk and yolk mixture. Stir to combine and garnish with nutmeg.
