ST. HELENS, OR (KPTV) -
A man who pleaded guilty to shooting his mother in the stomach was sentenced to 30 days behind bars.
Robert Terry pleaded guilty to assault and reckless endangering charges Wednesday. He was arrested after a five-hour standoff in St. Helens in July.

Dana Terry was taken to the hospital with critical injuries, but her condition improved.
