A semi-truck filled with toys delivered quite a surprise for patients at Doernbecher Children's Hospital.
The toys were delivered Thursday afternoon from Spirit Mountain Casino. Guests to the casino donated enough new and unwrapped toys to fill 14 pallets in the truck, which was provided by TP Freight Lines.
The Spirit Mountain toy drive lasted for three weeks.
"The annual toy drive, now in its fifth year, provides sufficient toys to meet the hospital's needs for the entire year," said Spirit Mountain Casino's General Manager Randy Dugger. "I am very grateful to be a part of this promotion. We received high quality toys this year, which tells me people really care about this."
