4,000 lose power in Clackamas County Friday

CLACKAMAS COUNTY, OR (KPTV) -

More than 4,000 people lost power in Clackamas County Friday night.

Portland General Electric said equipment failure is to blame for several outages that knocked out power to thousands of customers.

It was first reported just before 5:15 p.m.

Crews working to fix the problem hoped to have the power back on by 7:30 p.m. Friday.
