One wounded in shooting at Salem apartments

SALEM, OR (KPTV) -

Salem police are investigating a report of shots fired at an apartment complex on Sunnyview Road.

Officers responded to the Stoneridge Apartments in the 3800 block of Sunnyview NE at 2 a.m.

They found one adult suffering from a gunshot wound. The person's injuries were considered non-life-threatening.

There's no information on any suspects at this time.

Investigators remained at the apartments for hours after the shooting, but there's no word yet on whether they found any significant evidence.
