New Oregon State building damaged after pipe break - KPTV - FOX 12

A broken water pipe did an estimated $500,000 in damage when it broke at an Oregon State University science building.
A hot-water pipe on the building's fourth floor broke after a power outage last week.
The Corvallis Gazette-Times reports the pipe cooled off quickly as the water inside it cooled, and a weak link in the pipe broke, causing water to flow into the building for up to three hours.
About 15-16 offices were damaged.
Even some of the offices that weren't directly underneath the pipe had 1 to 2 inches of water on the floor.
Repairs are anticipated to take up to three months.
