Driver crashes into tree that fell on Hwy 30

CLATSKANIE, OR (KPTV) -

A pickup driver who crashed into a large log that fell across Highway 30 on Tuesday suffered minor injuries.

ODOT closed the highway for about two hours until they could remove the log and debris.

Troopers said the crash happened just east of Woodsen in Columbia County about 6 p.m. The pickup flipped onto its side.

The driver was taken to St Johns Medical Center in Longview, but his injuries weren't considered serious.
