A business owner is facing a pricey repair bill after vandals targeted her antique shop with a pellet gun.
Kelli Riedman, who owns Monticello Antique Marketplace on Southeast Stark Street, said she returned from her Christmas vacation Wednesday to find three windows on the front of her store shattered. Vandals had already broken three other windows the week before.
Riedman said it cost her $2,400 to replace the six broken windows and she's worried it could happen again.
"It's very scary," said Riedman. "It's double-paned glass but if it went through the second pane it could really hurt somebody. "
It's not the first time vandals have struck her store. In 2008, someone shot out as many as 17 windows with a pellet gun. She isn't sure if the two incidents are connected.
Riedman said at least three other businesses in the area reported similar damage.
If you have any information about the vandalism, you're asked to call police.
