Canby teen recovering after being hit by a car

CANBY, OR (KPTV) -

A Canby teen was taken to the hospital after being hit by a car Wednesday.

The 14-year-old boy ran into traffic, and the driver did not have a chance to stop.

It happened on South Ivy Street at Southeast First Avenue on Wednesday around 3 p.m.

The boy was taken to OHSU with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

No citations are being issued in the crash.
