HILLSBORO, OR (KPTV) -
TriMet officials say it appears that a car ran a red light and ran into a MAX blue line train at SE 10th Avenue and Washington Street in Hillsboro.
The collision occurred just after 10 a.m.
At least one person aboard the train received minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. There was no word regarding possible injuries to the driver of the car.
There was only minor damage for both vehicles.
The accident temporarily disrupted MAX service.
