Albert LeRay
GRESHAM, OR (KPTV) -
Gresham police arrested a man accused of shooting a BB gun during a domestic disturbance.
It started around 11:55 p.m. Sunday at an apartment complex at Northeast 172nd and Halsey.
Police arrested Albert LeRay, 45, of Portland.
Officers originally responded to reports that LeRay was firing a gun at a woman in the complex's parking lot.
LeRay originally refused to talk to police and went into an apartment, officers said.
Gresham police then called in other officers from Portland and the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office.
They were later able to arrest LeRay without incident.
Police said they found the BB gun used and said LeRay and the woman had a "'domestic relationship at some point.'"
LeRay is facing a number of charges, including assault, menacing and criminal mischief.
Police also said LeRay had a warrant from another case.
